James RussellPublished Wednesday, November 8, 2006 in the Nevada County PicayuneJames Arthur Russell, 89, of Magnolia, passed away Monday, November 6, 2006, at Magnolia City Hospital. He was born onJanuary 20, 1917, in Falcon, to the late Elmore Wayne and Verna Ophelia (Marlar) Russell. Mr. Russell was a self-employed independent business operator. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Dorothy (Russell) Waters. He is survived by his wife, Betty (Keith) Russell of Magnolia; one brother, Herbert E. Russell of Magnolia; one nephew, Wayne Russell of Magnolia; two nieces, Marie (Russell) Vickers of Magnolia and Betty (Russell) Storar of Shreveport, La. Graveside services were at Tuesday, November 7, 2006, at 2 p.m. at the Columbia Cemetery with Bro. Larry Roberts officiating under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. Family visitation was Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Columbia Cemetery Association, 419 East McKissack, Waldo, AR 71770.
