Curtis PurifoyPublished Wednesday, November 1, 2006 in the Gurdon TimesCurtis Purifoy, 79, of Mena, died Monday, October 23, 2006. He was an Air Force Veteran and member of the V.F.W. and American Legion. Survivors include his wife, Betty Purifoy of Mena; sons, Paul Purifoy of Groveland, Calif. and Bill Purifoy of Arkadelphia; daughters, Gayle Carrington of Hensley, and Karen Theel of Benton; stepchildren, Michael, Charlie, Leann, and Betty; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Graveside services were at 2 p.m. Friday, October 27, 2006 at Harts Chapel Cemetery. Arrangements by Horne Funeral Home of Gurdon. Visitation was from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
