Louise PressonPublished Wednesday, November 1, 2006 in the Gurdon TimesSammie Louise Presson, 70, of Prescott, died Saturday, Oct. 28, 2006. She was of the Baptist faith and worked many years as a beautician. She is survived by two sons, J.L. Presson of Mena and Jerry Presson of Prescott; three daughters, Shirley Brown of Urbana, Martha Brown of Prescott and Linda Marks of Stratford, Okla; one brother, Carl Lee Buddy Wells of Gum Springs; 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Visitation was 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 29, at Shackleford Funeral Home in Prescott. The funeral was Monday, Oct. 30, at Shackleford Funeral Home. Burial followed at South Fork Cemetery near Gurdon.
