Arlene HarperPublished Wednesday, November 1, 2006 in the Nevada County PicayuneMrs. Arlene Cummings Harper, 81, of Prescott, died Tuesday, October 24, 2006, at her home in Prescott. She was born on May 29, 1925, in Nevada County, to Clyde and Addie Avery Cummings. She was retired from the Prescott Garment Factory. She was a member of Midway United Methodist Church in Prescott. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Harper. Her survivors include one son, Larry Harper and Carolyn of Prescott; one daughter, Darlene Poole and David of Prescott; one brother, Carlton Cummings of Sheridan; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services were at 10 a.m., Thursday, October 26, 2006, at Midway United Methodist Church in Prescott, with Rev. Jimmy Teeter officiating. Burial followed in Midway Cemetery in Prescott. Arrangements by Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott. Family received friends Wednesday, October 25, 2006, from 6-8 p.m. at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott.
