Lou Ann StricklinPublished Wednesday, October 18, 2006 in the Gurdon TimesLou Ann Stricklin age 53, of Arkadelphia died Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2006, in Chicago, Ill. She was born October 9, 1953 in Arkadelphia, the daughter of Leo and Ruth Holcomb Partridge. She was office manager of the Clark County Road Department. She was preceded in death by a daughter Tanya Lynn and son Nick Tyler Stricklin , and father Leo Partridge. She is survived by her husband Fred Stricklin, one son Andy Stricklin and his wife Mandy of Arkadelphia, her mother Ruth Partridge of Arkadelphia, three sisters Gay Neel and her husband Mac, Becky Reeves and husband Sonny all of Arkadelphia and Amanda Lee and husband David of New Boston, TX, several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services were 2 p.m. Sunday, October 15, 2006 in the Third St. Baptist Church with Rev. Greg Latham officiating with burial in the Copeland Ridge Cemetery under the direction of Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home. Visitation were from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
