Collen Gulley

Collen Gulley, 81, of Prescott, died Tuesday, October 4, 2006, in Medical Park Hospital in Hope.

He was born March 10, 1995, in Bluff City to Frank and Daisy Clanahan Gulley in Bluff City. He was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church in Bluff City and former owner of Collen Gulley and Sons Sawmill. He attended Bluff City School. He served in the US Air Force.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Pearlie Gulley; four brothers and one sister.

He is survived by five children, Willis Gulley of Rockford, Ill., Frankie Gulley, Cullen Ray Gulley and Johnny Gulley, all of Chidester; and Carolyn Smith of Prescott; three sisters, Lee Helen Threadgill of Bluff City, Gertude Johnson and Lois Abner of Michigan, and Trudell Mixon of Calif.; twenty-one grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Monday, October 9, 2006, at 2 p.m. in Union Grove Baptist Church with Rev. James Forte officiating. Burial was in Union Grove Cemetery by Williams Funeral Home. E-mail condolences to williams.hm@sbcglobal.net.
