Hope, Butrum Announce Plans

Mr. and Mrs. Michael Paul Allen of Lincoln announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Amy Hope, to Douglas Cory Burtrum, son of Mr. and Mrs. Steven Ray Burtrum of Springdale.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Fielding of Hope and Mr. and Mr. J.D. Allen of Bodcaw.

She is a 1995 graduate of the University of Arkansas, where she received her bachelor's degree in business administration. She is employed by Tyson Foods Inc. in tax accounting.

The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. Clay Killion of Tulsa, Okla., and the late Mrs. Clay Killion and Mr. Charles Burtrum of Mesa, Ariz., and Mrs. Eudora Burtrum of Tulsa, Okla.

He is pursuing a bachelor's degree in organizational management from John Brown University. He is employed by TransMontaigne, Inc.

The wedding is planned for 2:00 p.m., May 1, at Mildred B. Cooper Memorial Chapel in Bella Vista.
