Dorothy SchultzPublished Wednesday, September 6, 2006 in the Nevada County PicayuneMrs. Dorothy Jean Ward Schultz, 83, of Sweet Home Community near Blevins, died Wednesday, August 30, 2006, in Medical Park Hospital in Hope. She was born on April 20, 1923, in Nevada County, to James Eugene and Era Roe Ward. She graduated from Blevins High School and then Cosmetology School in Little Rock, where she met and later married her husband Bill on February 13, 1943. She also became a teachers aide. She attended the Sweet Home Church most of her life where she taught the ladies Sunday School class. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband, William H. Bill Schultz. Her survivors include two sons, Jimmy Schultz and Marcia and Scott Schultz and Susan, all of Pine Bluff; one daughter, Donna Barrong and Bud of Camden; two sisters, Frances Mann and Charles and Maxie Paul, all of Prescott; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services were at 10 a.m., Saturday, September 2, 2006, at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home Chapel in Prescott, with Rev. Coy Zumwalt and Mr. Lloyd Grimes officiating. Burial followed in Sweet Home Cemetery in Sweet Home Community near Blevins. Arrangements by Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott.
