Barbara BoboPublished Wednesday, August 9, 2006 in the Nevada County PicayuneBarbara Joyce Bobo, 50, of Hope, died Tuesday, August 1, 2006 at Medical Park Hospital in Hope. She was born March 13, 1956 in Little Rock. She was a nurse and a member of The Anderson Baptist Church at Springhill. She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Goodwin Jr.; a son, James Marvin Russell; and a granddaughter, Courtney Goodwin. She is survived by her husband Mike Bobo of Hope; mother, Mary Jo Gregory of Bodcaw; son, Jason Goodwin of Springhill; step-son, Charlie Bobo of Springhill; step-daughter, Melissa Martin of Laneburg; brother, Gary Goodwin of Magnolia; four step-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, August 4, 2006 at Smith Funeral Home in Stamps, with Revs. Gary Goodwin and Jerry Evans officiating with burial in Union Cemetery at Bodcaw, under the direction of Smith Funeral Home in Stamps.
