"God gives us mountains to climb and the strength to climb them."

We really had a good time at church Sunday. Our choir really did sing good. Guests at church were Calvin Tidwell from Houston, Texas, Gloria Jackson and members from Oak Grove.

Sis. Benora Box and myself went to Mary Ann Rogers Harris' funeral Saturday. She finished school at Oak Grove years ago. Her daughter, Carrie Bowie, teaches school at Nevada. She was such a nice person.

Charles Kendrick and his wife visited George and me Sunday afternoon. They live in Kansas City. They have a retirement home in Stamps.

Edward Sanders is on our sick list.

James Fred Williams and Ronald (Whiz) Williams came by the house Monday. They were on their way back home from Dallas, Texas. They paid their taxes on their property.
