BodcawAline ClausPublished Wednesday, March 17, 1999 in the Nevada County Picayune Rain, rain, didn't it rain? Russ Carlton went to his doctor in Little Rock on Friday. They thought he was doing okay from his surgery, but he is not feeling very good. He still needs our prayers. J.D. and Marie Allen went to Hot Springs to visit their grandson, Andy, and Coleen Allen. They went with Mike and Jackie Allen from Lincoln. They visited in Hope for the weekend and made this extra trip on Sunday. John, Marie, Hall, Ashley and Blair from Monroe, La., visited mom, Marguerite Dorman. Marge and Ural Poindexter are enjoying a visit from Marge's mother from California. They had other members of their family, LaNore, Teresa and Mike and families, in church. Allen and Jeanie Howard of Texarkana, Ark., came for a visit with the Butlers and me. Allen lived at the station when he was growing up. His father, Elmer Howard, worked at the station. It was good to see them. Richard Miller's wife, Susie, is seriously ill in St. Michael Hospital in Texarkana. They live in Idabel, Okla. Geraldine Campbell, Sherry Lane and Maudie Miller visited Susie on Sunday. Maudie is not feeling very well and the trip tired her out. I have a new member in my family, a Siamese cat named Tipper. She says hello to Jeanie. She is Queen of this place.
