JoAnne C. Baker, 69, of Rosson, died Monday, July 3, 2006 in Valley Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Camden.

Mrs. Baker was born March 3, 1937 in Mobile, Ill., the daughter of George B. and Esther Irene Stephenson Clark. She was a secretary of AT&T Telephone Company, a homemaker, and a Baptist.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronals Clark and Jerry Clark, and a sister, Helen Scavarda.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry Baker of Rosston; son, David Baker and wife, Patricia of Camden; two daughters, Lori Phelps and husband, Robert of Merryville, La. and Rhonda Moore and husband, David of Houston, Texas; five grandchildren, and two great grandchildren; four brothers, James Clark of San Marcos, Cal., George Clark of San Diego, Cal., Eugene Clark of Pink Hill, N.C., and Robert Clark of Ft. Myers, Fl.; and sister, Betty Kaestner of Silvis, Ill.
