Margaret Scott

Margaret Adine Price Scott, 84, died peacefully on June 29, in San Antonio, Texas.

A long time Fort Smith resident and native, she was active in the First Christian Church, YWCA, and the Sparks Hospital Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of almost 60 years, Samuel B. (Bud) Scott Jr.

She is survived by her son, Samuel B. Scott III and his wife, Barbara; their children, Blake, Robert, and Sarah of Plainfield, Il.; her son, Weston P. Scott and his daughters, Kelley and Julia of San Antonio, and her daughter, Jane Moore, her husband Wendell and their children Kathy and John of Vienna, VA.

Graveside service was at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the U.S. National Cemetery with funeral services at the First Christian Church in Fort Smith at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 5, 2006 under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

Friends and family were received from 6-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 4 at Edwards Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association or First Christian Church in Fort Smith.
