Jose OrtizPublished Wednesday, June 28, 2006 in the Gurdon TimesJose Ortiz, 18, died June 23, 2006, as a result of an automobile accident. He was an employee of International Paper Company and of the Catholic Faith. Survivors include his mother, Delfine Juarez of Gurdon; father, Raymundo Ortiz of Prescott; his girlfriend, Prajedis Munoz; daughter, Allison Michelle Ortiz of Prescott; four brothers, Ramiro Hurrea Jr., Luis A. Banda, Raymonda Ortiz Jr. and Jesus R. Ortiz; four sisters, Leticia Chavarria, Anna R. Aguilar, Maria D. Ortiz and Sonia Ortiz. Funeral services were Tuesday, June 27, 2006 at 12 p.m. in the Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church in Hope, 315 South Walker, with Father Felix Alaribe officiating.
