E.J. "Bill" GatesPublished Wednesday, June 28, 2006 in the Gurdon TimesE.J. "Bill" Gates, 88 of Glenwwod, died Wendsday, June 21, 2006. Survivors include two sons, Bill Gates and his wife, Suzy of Tyler, Texas, and John Gates of Glenwood; two daughters, Janice Ingram and her husban Jim of Jacksonville, Texas, and Jean Ross and her husband Dean, of Kennewick, Wisc.; two sisters, Sybil Helmbeck of Sherwood, and Helen Phillips of Middleburg, FLa.; seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Juanita. The funeral was at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 24, at the Horne Chapel. Burial was to follow at South Fork Cemetery under the direction of Horne Funeral HOme. Memorials may be made to your favorite charity. Send online condolences to hornefuneralhome@sbcglobal.net.
