POCAHONTAS 50 For the fourth consecutive season Prescott's senior girls made it to the big dance, only to have a scare as they narrowly beat Pocahontas 54-50 in the first round.

Prescott opened with a 17-10 lead after one and was up 28-16 at halftime. The Lady Redskins cut the lead to six at 38-32 by the end of three and fought bravely in the final eight minutes, only to lose.

Stockton led the team with 24, with Cossey hitting 17, including another three treys.

Prescott was nine of 12 at the line.
