Leon Harrison, Jr.

Mr. Leon Patrick Harrison, Jr., 60, of Nash, Texas, formerly of Bodcaw, died Saturday, June 10, 2006, at Christus St. Michael Health System in Texarkana, Texas.

He was born in Bodcaw, October 22, 1945, to Leon Patrick Sr. and Mary Esther Cearley Harrison. He was a carpenter and a Baptist.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

His survivors include two sons, John Patrick Harrison and Becky of Hope and Jeff Harrison of Dallas, Texas; one daughter, Jennifer LeAnn Venable and Wiliam of Liberty Eylau, Texas; one sister, Karen Martin and Jerry of Prescott; six grandchildren, Mitchell Blake Harrison of Hope, Amanda Carol Jones of Hope, and Paxton, Harley, and Taylor Venable all of Liberty Eylau, Texas; and one nephew, Chad Martin of Conway.

Graveside services were at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at Union Cemetery in Bodcaw, with Rev. David Hampton officiating. Burial followed. Arrangements by Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope.

Family received friends Monday, June 12, 2006, from 6-8 p.m. at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope.
