L.R. McDonaldPublished Wednesday, June 7, 2006 in the Gurdon TimesL. R. McDonald age 63 of Gurdon died Wednesday, May 31, 2006. He was a logger for Forthman Logging Company, member of Red Springs Baptist Church and a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. Survivors include one son, David (Jerusha) McDonald of Gurdon; three daughters, Laurie (Bryan) Gillette of Conway, Branaie (Chad) Thornton of Bismarck and Michelle (Bryan) Rutherford of Gurdon; three sisters, Marie Francis of Shreveport, La., Loretta Kinzer, of Dallas, Texas, and Lois Jackson of Whelen Springs; and seven grandchildren.
