Jan. 29 home vs. Fountain LakePublished Wednesday, March 17, 1999 in the Nevada County PicayuneIt was payback time as the Lady Cobras came to Prescott to end play in January. They returned home with a 67-54 loss for their efforts. Prescott started with a 19-16 first quarter lead as the Lady Cobras were ready to play. Halftime, though, saw the Wolverettes p by 14 with the score 39-25. Both squads added nine to their totals in the third period, which ended with the score 48- 34. Cossey was the big gun with five threes accounting for 15 of her 24 points. Stockton added 14, with Graham and Haynie scoring 10 each. The Wolverettes were 20 of 23.
