Cecil PricePublished Wednesday, May 17, 2006 in the Nevada County PicayuneCecil Owen Price, 53, of Little Rock, passed away Saturday, May 6, 2006. Born September 14, 1952, in Prescott, he was the son of Nina (Rutherford) and Wilford Maurice Price, Sr. Owner of his own business since 1993, Cecil had been in the heating and air business for over 35 years. He also built and sponsored race cars, and was an avid deer hunter. HE was of the Lutheran faith. He was a loving son, husband, father, stepfather, brother, brother-in-law, grandpa, and friend. Preceded in death by his father, Wilford Price, Sr.; his stepfather, Floyd Price; and a brother, Wilford Maurice Price, Jr. Cecil is survived by his wife of 10 years, Sharon Hindman Price; a son, Tony Price and his wife, Shaun, all of Little Rock; a daughter, Tracy Price Stricklin and her husband, J.D., of Maumelle; two stepchildren, Brian Wise and his wife, Tracy of North Little Rock, and Anna Peterson and her husband, Chris of Little Rock; his mother, Nina Price of Prescott; three sisters, Brenda Williams, Peggy McLelland and her husband, Thomas E. Jr., all of Prescott, and Linda Straun and her husband, Larry, of Nathan; eight grandchildren, Madison, Cameron, Chanse, Hunter, Elaine, Grant, Brooke, and Olivia, and mother-and father-in-law, Lillie (ONeal) and Robert Lawerence Hindman of Sherwood. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 9, 2006 at Sylvan Hills Community Church, 8019 Sylvan Hills Highway, Sherwood, with Bro. Tim McMinn officiating. Burial was at Gibson Cemetery in Gravel Ridge. Visitation was from 5-8 p.m. Monday, May 8, at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock, 501-835-3515.
