Working in conjunction with American Legion Post 0096 commanded by Art Cooper and fellow American Legion member Jason A. Ward (Owner of Ravens Coffee Shop), Gurdon residents will have the option to enjoy an old fashioned dance, recreation, and community fellowship.

Ravens Coffee House on Main Street in Gurdon will be the official American Legion Post 0096 Dance Hall. Post 0096 and Ravens Coffee House will begin offering weekly old fashioned American Legion dances.

American Legion Post 0096 will meet for the swearing in of a new vice-commander of post 0096 and American Legion recruitment drive Monday, May 8, at 7:30 p.m. The dancing will begin at 8:00 p.m.

The American Legion Post 0096 and Ravens would like to welcome the veterans of all branches of service to attend the event and to see what the American Legion has to offer.

So make plans, and get ready for a fun night of old fashioned American Legion dancing. The cover charge for the dance will be $5.00 at the door.

All ages are welcome to come enjoy the fun and support your local American Legion.
