Van WigginsPublished Wednesday, May 3, 2006 in the Nevada County PicayuneMr. Van A. Wiggins, 71, of Hope, died Saturday, April 29, 2006, at his home. He was born on May 29, 1934, to John H. and Emma Abbott Wiggins in Hope. He was a retired Railroad Engineer for Union Pacific Railroad. He was an Air Force Veteran during the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by his parents and the last of eleven children, being preceded by four brothers and six sisters. His survivors include his wife of 52 years, Gayle Foster Wiggins of Hope; one son, Corby Wiggins of Hope; one daughter, Karen Wiggins of Philladelphia, Penn.; one granddaughter, Zoey Williams of Hope; and two great-grandchildren, Layla Coon and Corbin Block both of Hope.
