Ruth OllerPublished Wednesday, May 3, 2006 in the Nevada County PicayuneRuth Marie Oller, 77, of Lewisville, died Tuesday, April 25, 2006, at the The Christus St. Michaels Hospital in Texarkana, TX. She was born June 17, 1928 in Murfreesboro. She was a homemaker and a member of the Piney Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert Oller; brother, Albert Hawley; sister, Pauline Mackey; and three step-sisters, Aline Johnson, Ruby Jack, and Florence Evers. She is survived by a daughter, Evelyn Welch and Johnny of Lewisville; brother, Grover Hawley of Magnolia; sister, Nellie Mae Hillery of Prescott and two grandchildren. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 27, 2006 at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps with Rev. Gladney Hunt officiating with burial in the Sardis Cemetery north of Stamps under the direction of Smith Funeral Home in Stamps.
