Mildred LangPublished Wednesday, April 26, 2006 in the Nevada County PicayuneMrs. Mildred Bryson Lange, 92, of Hope, formerly of Prescott, died Thursday, April 20, 2006 at her home. She was born on April 10, 1914, in Prescott to John Henry and Leola Steel Bryson. She was a homemaker. She was a Methodist; a member of the former Moscow United Methodist Church and a honorary board member of the Moscow Cemetery Association. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl N. Lang and by one brother, Ralph Bryson. Her survivors include: cousins, Mary Ethel Sams of Little Elm, Texas and I.E. Gray of Arlington, Texas; special caregivers and friends, Oree Simmons and Belinda and Ralph McKinnon all of Prescott; Reba Edmonson and Charles and Diane Sharpe all of Hope. Funeral services were at 2 p.m., Monday, April 24, 2006, at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott, with Rev. Jerry G. Westmoreland officiating. Burial was in Moscow Cemetery in Prescott. Arrangements by Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott. Family received friends Sunday, April 23, 2006, from 2-4 p.m. at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott. Memorials may be made to Moscow Cemetery Fund, c/o Belinda McKinnon, 1396 Nevada 23, Prescott, AR 71857.
