Jan. 5 home vs. De QueenPublished Wednesday, March 17, 1999 in the Nevada County PicayuneAction resumed in conference play with the Wolverettes pasting De Queen 62-40. After a close first period, 17-16, the Wolverettes pulled away slightly by halftime, with the score 26-23. However, the third quarter showed what Prescott's girls were made of as they blew the Lady Leopards off the court 22-10 to take a 48-33 lead. Stockton set the pace with 20 points, while Cossey followed with 16 and Graham had 14. The Wolverettes were a solid 80 percent from the line, hitting four of five.
