Bonnie L. Dennis, 77, of Magnolia, died Wednesday, April 12, 2006, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock.

She was born September 24, 1928 in Prescott, to the late Jethro W. and Fulma Dillard Lee. She was a retired bookkeeper for Chad White; a member of First United Methodist Church, and a member of the American Legion Forty and Eight Auxiliary.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Robert Bud Loe.

She is survived by her husband, Couch Dennis of Magnolia; two daughters, Gwenette Jacobson and husband Russ of Magnolia, and Tama Martin and husband Robert of Cabot; one sister, Margaret Webb and husband Donald of Prescott; two grandson, Dr. Ryan Ward and wife Tera of Monroe, La., and Jon Martin of Bryant; two granddaughters, Haley Ward of Magnolia, Jennifer Coffman and husband Clay of Benton; three great grandsons, Tucker Ward of Monroe, La., Elizha Fields of Magnolia, and Jackson Martin of Bryant. Mrs. Dennis will be missed by her faithful companion Sam.

Funeral services were Saturday, April 15, 2006 at 10 a.m. at Lewis Chapel. Dr. Walter Smith officiated, assisted by Tal Webb. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home. Visitation was Friday, April 14, 2006, from 6-8 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Arkansas Childrens Hospital Foundation, P.O. Box 2222, Little Rock, AR 72203.

Active pallbearers were Allen Loe, Tim Webb, Barney Hugh Reeves, Tony Wilson, Thomas Eugene Dennis and Larry Terrell. Honorary pallbearers were Lake Erling Friends and Neighbors, Herbert Russell and Chad White, email. Condolences at www.lewisfuneralhome.biz.
