Elzia GarnerPublished Wednesday, April 12, 2006 in the Gurdon TimesElzia Garner, 75, of Gurdon, died April 4, 2006. He was born October 4, 1930 in Antoine. Elzie and Mary Lou who were married 55 years, lived at Beirne most of their life and will be buried at Beirne Cemetery. They had three children, Jimmy Garner of Gurdon, Pat Leverton and husband Rick, Sarah of Kirby, Frankie of Nashville, and Mary Anne Baker and husband Ronnie and Kyli, all of Gurdon; five grandchildren, Jennifer Francis of Fayetteville, Justin and Elizabeth Garner of Gurdon, Katie Rutledge and family Bobby Kane and Chase of Arkadelphia. Grave side services were at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 8, 2006, at Brown Cemetery with Bro. Frank Hensen officiating. Pallbearers from Beirne Baptist Church.
