Dec. 28-30 Christmas ClassicPublished Wednesday, March 17, 1999 in the Nevada County PicayuneThe Wolverettes opened play in the Prescott Christmas Classic by whipping Hot Springs Lakeside 54-41. They jumped out to a 13-4 lead at the end of one and were up a slim 21-17 at the break. Period three saw the Wolverette offense kick in and push the margin to double digits at 38-24.
