Leanne HillPublished Wednesday, March 29, 2006 in the Nevada County PicayuneLeanne Garrett Juneau Hill, 23, of Arkadelphia passed away on Monday, March 13, 2006, at UAMS. She had suffered from Cystic Fibrosis all of her life and had been preceded in death by her a sister, Luanne and her grandparents, Charles and Mary Lou Garrett of Arkadelphia. For many years she was a patient of Arkansas Childrens Hospital, where she received excellent care. Her case was professionally pursued under the guidance of the research team at UAMS. Survivors include two sons, Derrik Cain Lester, 7, of Arkadelphia and Christian Reid Hill, Jr, 4, of Blevins. Graveside services were 3 p.m. Saturday, March 18, 2006, in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens, 4647 Pine St. (Hwy 8) with Rev. Daniel Kirkpatrick, pastor of Arkadelphias First Methodist Church and was assisted by friend and neighbor, Ed Snider. No formal visitation was held. Memorials may be made to Arkansas Childrens Hospital, UAMS or The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Arkansas. Condolences to the family may be registered online at www.ruggleswilcox.com.
