Jean BondsPublished Wednesday, March 22, 2006 in the Nevada County PicayuneMrs. Jean Phenea Munn Bonds, 86, of Little Rock, formerly of Prescott, died Thursday, March 16, 2006, in Little Rock. She was born on August 11, 1920, in Prescott to Thomas Owen and Lula Beth Barham Munn. She was a lifelong member of the Methodist Church, more recently Asbury UMC and Primrose UMC and was a member of the United Methodist Women Society Presbyterian. She was preceded in death by her parents; her step-father, Minus Duncan Buck Shell; her husband of 33 years, Herman Glenn Bonds; a son, Thomas Alfred Bonds; and two grandchildren. Her survivors include: one daughter, Sue Beth Johnson and Joe; one son, Herman Glenn Bonds, Jr. and Karen; seven grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild. Graveside services were at 12 p.m., Monday, March 20, 2006, at DeAnn Cemetery in Prescott, with Rev. Jim Stone officiating. Burial followed. Arrangements by Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott. Family received friends on Sunday, March 19, 2006, from 2-4 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Healey and Roth Funeral Home in Little Rock.
