Alleen Daniels

Mrs. Alleene T. Daniels, 91, of Texarkana, formerly of Prescott, died Monday, March 13, 2006, at Christus St. Michael Hospital, Texarkana, Texas.

She was born on November 27, 1914, in Prescott to Byrd and Goldie Herron Tippitt. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse for more than 20 years and worked in both Prescott Hospitals. She was a member of the Prescott Church of Christ, which she and her husband attended regularly when they lived in Prescott. She loved gardening, cooking, and loved her Arkansas Razorbacks. She loved her family and the get togethers they had. She also had a love for pretty things whether clothes or furniture.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Delmer Daniels; and two brothers, Leonard and Lester Tippitt.

Her survivors include: one daughter, Biddie Martin and Troy of Texarkana; one sister, Helen Morris of Walla Walla, Wash.; three grandchildren, Becky Davis and Don, Gerry Martin and Angie, and Kyle Martin, all of Texarkana.

Graveside services were at 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 15, 2006, at DeAnn Cemetery in Prescott, with Tony Hamilton. Burial followed. Arrangements by Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott.

Family received friends Wednesday, March 15, 2006, prior to the service beginning at 1 p.m. at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott.
