Mrs. Liz Hollomon Roth, 78, of Wake Village, Texas, died Saturday, March 11, 2006, at her home.

She was born on January 16, 1928, in Prescott to Cliff and Etta Stingley Hollomon. She was retired from Piggly Wiggly of Texarkana. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, J.V. and Jack Hollomon; three sister, Olean Harris, Faye Johnson and Susie Irene Morgan.

Her survivors include: her husband of 21 years, John E. Roth of Wake Village; two sons, Paul Coates and Libby of Branson, Mo., and Gary Coates and Carna, Fordyce; one daughter, Sharon Cottingham and Tommy of Bismarck; one step-daughter, Carol Roth of Texarkana; one brother, Alvis Hollomon of Sachie, Texas; five grandchildren, Amy Duffey of Texarkana, Texas, Kim Scroyer of Gold Canyon, Ariz., Natalie Tate of Bentonville, Saxon Coates and Wendy Adams both of Fordyce; seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, 2006, at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott, with Rev. Jerry G. Westmoreland officiating. Burial was in Sweet Home Cemetery near Blevins. Arrangements by Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott.

Family received friends Monday, March 13, 2006, from 6-8 p.m. at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott.
