Donald Gunter Jr.Published Wednesday, March 15, 2006 in the Nevada County PicayuneMr. Donald Wiley Gunter, Jr., 63, of Hope, died Monday, March 6, 2006, in Hope. He was born on November 28, 1942, in Hope to Donald Wiley, Sr. and Oree Bland Gunter. He was a retired State Auditor. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars of Hope and an Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his father; and his wife, Tambra Gilbert Gunter. His survivors include: his mother, Oree Bland Gunter of Hope; one son, Harold Leonard, Jr. of Lewisville; two daughters, Kelly Hamilton of Spring Hill and Kim Spears of Rogers, and eight grandchildren. Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Friday, March 10, 2006, at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home Chapel in Hope, with Rev. Earl Cumbie officiating. Burial followed in Westmoreland Cemetery, Fulton. Arrangements by Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope. Family received friends Thursday, March 9, 2006, from 6-8 p.m. at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope.
