Betra Campbell

Betra Viola Greene Campbell, 84, of Delight, died March 7, 2006, in Hot Springs.

She was born June 21, 1923, in Patmos to Joseph Elmore and Ola Mae Moses Hollis. She was a homemaker and a member of Billstown Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include: her husband, Jessie Lindel Campbell of Delight; two daughters, Carolyn Jackson and husband, Barry, of Hope and Jo Ella may and husband, Mickey, of Stamps; four sons, Johnny Campbell and wife, Donnie, of Benton, Jimmy Campbell and wife, Jan, Tommy and wife, Pam, Pete Campbell and wife, Renee, all of Delight; a brother, Joe Hollis, Jr. of Hope; three sisters, Myrtis Blankenship of Waldo, Imogene Powell of Hope and Loretta Nickolas of Patmos; 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Services were held Friday, March 10, 2006, in Hope Church of Christ at 10 a.m. with Wallace Alexander and Cris May officiating. Interment was at New Hope Cemetery, under the direction of Herndon Funeral Home.

Visitation was Thursday, March 9, 2006, in Herndon Funeral Home from 6-8:30 p.m. under the direction of Herndon Funeral Home.
