Lillian ShaverPublished Wednesday, March 15, 2006 in the Gurdon TimesLillian Shaver, age 77 of Gurdon, died on Thursday, March 9, 2006. She was a foster grandparent at Gurdon Primary School and a member of the First Baptist Church in Gurdon. Survivors include: a grand daughter, Jodi Coplen, and husband, Mickey; great-grandson, Max Currey, all of Gurdon; a step-son, Paul Shaver of Gurdon; a step-daughter, Brenda Steed and husband, Rick; grand daughter, Kelli Steed, all of Bryant; and grand daughter Lori Bower and husband Michael; a great-grandson, Brady, all of Cabot; a step-son, Donald Radford, of Lawton, Oklahoma; a sister, Sybil Harris of Gurdon; and a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Shaver; a daughter, Vickey Cathy Arnold, brothers, J.W. Schee and Junior Schee. Services were scheduled for 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 11, 2006 in the Horne Chapel, with interment in the Rose Hedge Cemetery by Horne Funeral Home.
