David BaileyPublished Wednesday, March 8, 2006 in the Nevada County PicayuneDavid Hub Bailey, 55, of Willisville, died February 28, 2006, at his home. He was born April 4, 1950 in Prescott to James Ivie and Zelma Ward Bailey. He was a member of Whites Chapel Baptist Church at Rosston, and employed as a truck driver for Alcoa in Magnolia. He was an avid outdoorsman and his hobbies included fishing and hunting. David was a talented handyman, but his greatest talent was being a devoted husband, father and friend. Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Lisa Bonner Bailey; two daughters, Brittany Bailey and Brooke Bailey all of Willisville; mother-in-law, Elaine Bonner of Shreveport, La.; sister-in-law, Tamara Bonner of Houston, Texas, Shawn Thomas and David of Shreveport, and Christi Allbritton of Bossier, La.; one nephew, Tyler Thomas and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles. He is also survived by a sister. He is preceded in death by his parents Ivie and Zelma Bailey and a brother, Mack Bailey. Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Friday, March 3, 2006, in Bailey Chapel at Magnolia, with Bro. Jerry Evans officiating. Burial was in Willisville Cemetery arranged by Bailey Funeral Home in Magnolia. Visitation was Thursday, March 2, 2006, from 6-8 p.m. at Bailey Funeral Home in Magnolia.
