Olen LoePublished Wednesday, March 1, 2006 in the Nevada County PicayuneOlen Edward Loe, 78, of Bluff City, died Friday, February 24, 2006. He was an employee of Prescott Public School, a U.S. Army veteran of WW II, a volunteer for the Prescott Senior Adult Center and served on the Silver Hair Legislature, a former employee of Nevada County and was a Mason. Survivors include wife, Vernell D. Loe of Bluff City; three step-sons, Jerry McKelvy of Camden, Billy Ray McKelvy of De Queen, and Eddie Genee McKelvy of Bluff City; three sisters, Emma Jean Riddling of Bridge City, Texas, Martha Cockrill of Sulphur, La., and Glenda Dixon of Orange, Texas; four step-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild. Funeral was at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 26, at Bluff City Church of Christ with interment at Caney Cemetery at Morris Baptist Church. Memorial to Caney Cemetery c/o Janice Callicott, 147 Nevada 406, Prescott, Ark. 71857. Arrangements by Shackelford Funeral Home in Prescott.
