Inez CoopwoodPublished Wednesday, March 1, 2006 in the Nevada County PicayuneMrs. Inez Coopwood, 93, of Houston, Texas, formerly of Blevins, died Wednesday, February 22, 2006, in Vosswood Nursing Home in Houston. She was born on May 8, 1912, in Blevins to James Michael and Lula Mae Vineyard Cummings. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Harmony Baptist Church in Houston for 44 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Coopwood; and by her daughter, Carol Kimball. Her survivors include: two sons, Bobby Coopwood and Reba of Camden and Michael Coopwood and K.C. of Houston; three daughters, Marilyn Myrick and Rev. Kenneth of Houston, Linda Robinson of Palestine, Texas, and Donna Greensage and Roy of Houston; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Graveside services were at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, February 25, 2006, in Macedonia Cemetery, Blevins. Burial followed. Arrangements by Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope.
