Paul Cross

Mr. Paul Hubert Cross, 79, of Prescott, died Saturday, February 18, 2006, at his home.

He was born on February 26, 1926, in Nevada County to Ruel Henry Miles Cross and Effie Estelle Stovall Cross. He was a logger for Dewayne Lee Logging Co. He was a non-denominational.

He was preceded in death by one great-grandson, Paul Richard Jackson; and by one brother, Powell Ebert Red Cross.

His survivors include: his wife of 58 years, Vera Green Cross of Prescott; two sons, Billy Ruel Cross of Clinton and Paul Ronald Cross of Prescott; one daughter, Linda Bennett of Prescott; two sisters, Wanda Lee and Wanetta White both of Prescott; five grandchildren, David Eugene Jackson of Alexander, Timothy Hank Jackson of Malvern, Patricia Lynn Cole of Prescott, Alisha Ann Rogers of Nashville, and Jeramy Clay Fielding of Hope; and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Monday, February 20, 2006, at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home Chapel in Prescott with Rev. Mike Steed officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Prescott. Arrangements by Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott.

Family received friends Sunday, February 19, 2006, from 2-6 p.m. at their home, 2284 Hwy 299 South, Prescott.
