Ola ZepkaPublished Wednesday, February 22, 2006 in the Nevada County PicayuneMrs. Ola Mae Sewell Zepka, 80, of Akron, Ohio (formerly of the Sweet Home Community), passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2006, in Ohio. She was born in Prescott to John and Betty Sewell. She was a retired secretary from the University of Akron. She was a member of Emmanuel United Church of Christ, the Business and Professional Womans Association, and the Lunch Bunch. She also enjoyed gardening. She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Zepka; her parents; two sisters, and two brothers. Her survivors include: one daughter, Candace Holland and Robert of Tallmadge, Ohio; one son, John W. Zepka and Kathy of Akron; one sister, Nellie Nunn of Fort Worth, Texas; one brother, Horace Sewell of West Farmington, Ohio; four grandchildren, Cyndie Fogus, John W. Zepka, III, Benjamin Holland and Katie Holland; three great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. Graveside services were 1 p.m. Sunday, February 19, 2006, at the Sweet Home Cemetery in Prescott with Mr. Harley Sisson officiating. Memorials may be made to the Ohio Parkinsons Foundation, Northeast Region, P.O. Box 271, Tallmadge, Ohio 44278. Arrangements by Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott.
