Mary DeVenney

Mrs. Mary Lou DeVenney, 72 of Hope, died Sunday, February 12, 2006, at her home.

She was born on February 1, 1934, in Hope, to Kenny and Cletis Miller Easterling. She was a retired security guard for the former Meyers Baker of Hope. She was a Baptist.

She was preceded by her father, Kenny Easterling and by one brother, Charles Easterling.

Her survivors include: one son, Frank DeVenney and Judy of Hope; one daughter, Pat Beavers and Mike of Hope; her mother, Cletis Baker of Prescott; one sister, Debbie McDonald of Texarkana, Ark.; three grandchildren, Jason Downs and Angela of Cabot, Angela Camp and Bryan of Hope and Joey Downs and Ruth of Nashville; four great-grandchildren, Jordan, Seth, Lani and Becky.

Graveside services were at 10 a.m., Wednesday, February 15, 2006, in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Hope, with Rev. John Mangum officiating. Burial followed. Arrangements by Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope.
