Marjorie McMaster

Marjorie Aline Blanton McMaster, age 92 of Okolona died Saturday, February 4, 2006, at St. Vincent Infirmary Medical Center in Little Rock.

She was born January 21, 1914 in Okolona, the daughter of the late Herbert Gray and Ola Gates Blanton. She was a loving mother and homemaker, and a member of the Okolona Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Burleson McMaster.

Survivors include two sons, Jeff McMaster and wife, Sharon of Weatherford, Texas, and Eddie McMaster and wife, Charlotte of Gurdon; one daughter, Becky Woodfield and husband, Ronnie of Albuquerque, NM; one brother, Jim Blanton of Okolona; one sister, Flora Jean Tarpley of Arkadelphia; a very caring and devoted sister-in-law; Balma Blanton of Gurdon and a dear friend, Ester Norton of Okolona; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Weir Cemetery in Okolona with Bro. Ron Grisby and Bro. David Moore officiating. Interment under the direction of Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home. Visitation was from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
