Charles Cox, Jr.Published Wednesday, January 25, 2006 in the Nevada County PicayuneMr. Charles Jackson Cox, Jr., 88, of Emmet, died Saturday, January 21, 2006. Mr. Cox was a retired farmer and of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his seven children: three sons, Charles J. Cox, III of Point, Texas, Don F. Cox of Quinlin, Texas and David C. Cox of Emmet; four daughters, Jackie Ruth Church of Texarkana, Patricia A. Overton of Emmet, Glenda G. Sorrells of Emmet and Suzy Cruz of Dallas, Texas; 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Graveside services were Tuesday, January 24, 2006, at 2 p.m. in Snell Cemetery at Emmet by Shackelford Funeral Home of Prescott.
