Pet vaccination Clinics Will Be Open April 10Published Wednesday, March 24, 1999 in the Nevada County PicayuneThe Nevada County 4-H will again sponsor a series of low cost pet vaccination clinics. The clinics will be held at different locations throughout the county on Saturday, April 10. State law requires each dog or cat to have a rabies vaccination each year by a licensed veterinarian. Dr. D.R. Whitehead, D.V.M. from Magnolia, will be making the rounds in Nevada County to vaccinate dogs and cats. The cost to have a dog or cat vaccinated is $7 per animal. For each dog and/or cat vaccinated, $1 will be contributed to the Nevada County 4-H. Locations and times will be posted at area stores throughout Nevada County.
