Doris Mouser

Mrs. Doris Carman Mouser, 85, of Hot Springs, formerly of Prescott, died Sunday, December 25, 2005, in Advance Care of St. Josephs Medical Center in Hot Springs.

She was born on August 20, 1920, in Prescott to Dee Otis and Bessie Barnes Montgomery. She was a homemaker. She was a member and former treasurer of Sweet Home Unite Methodist Church and former Blevins Senior Citizens bus driver.

She was preceded in death by her parents and by her husbands, Dorris B. (Buddy) Carman and Olen Mouser; one brother, Ralph Montgomery and three sisters, Eva Jones, Gladys Steele and Mary Beth Jones.

Her survivors include: one son, Larry Carman of Prescott; one daughter, Sharon Carman Waddle of Hot Springs; one sister, Emma Sue Zikoski of Bethlehem, Penn.; one sister-in-law, Odelle Collier of Hope; four grandchildren, Michawn Davis of Prescott, Heather Easterling of Hope, Jonathan Westmoreland of Seattle, Wash. and Carmen McWhorter of Krugerville, Texas; and eight great-grandchildren, Cody Davis of Prescott, Kelly Davis of Emmet, Whitney Easterling of Hope, Seth Easterling of Hope, Elizabeth Davis of Prescott, Connar Reid of Seattle, Wash., Aaron Easterling of Hope, and Caleb McWhorter of Krugerville, Texas.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 29, 2005, at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home Chapel in Prescott with Rev. Jim Benfer and Rev. Jerry G. Westmoreland officiating. Burial followed in Sweet Home Cemetery in Prescott. Arrangements by Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott.

Family received friends Wednesday, December 28, 2005, from 6-8 p.m. at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott.
