Avie WyliePublished Wednesday, December 21, 2005 in the Nevada County PicayuneAvie Weaver Wylie, 88, of Springdale, died December 11, 2005, in Springdale. She was retired from Civil Services. She was born January 24, 1917, in Hempstead County to William G. and Lou Freeman Weaver. She was a member of Emmet Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Denman N. Wylie; two sisters, three brothers and one half brother. Survivors include one sister, Marie Crouch of Monroe, La.; and a host of nieces and nephews. Services were Thursday, December 15, 2005, at 1 p.m. at Herndon Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Westmoreland officiating. Interment was at Snell Cemetery in Emmet, under the direction of Herndon Funeral Home. Visitation was Wednesday, December 14, 2005, from 6-8 p.m. at Herndon Funeral Home.
