Doyle JonesPublished Wednesday, December 14, 2005 in the Nevada County PicayuneDoyle Jones, 80, of Camden, died Sunday, December 4, at National Park Hospital in Hot Springs. He was born January 16, 1925, at Prescott, a son of the late Beulah Jones and Florence Urey Jones. He was a member of Fairview Road Baptist Church and a retired produce manager for the Kroger Company with 35 years of service. Survivors include his wife, Marie Wolfe Jones, whom he married on March 8, 1968, at Camden; one stepdaughter, Linda Gill and spouse H.V. of Searcy; one step grandchild, Duane Gill and spouse, Stephanie of Searcy; two step great-grandchildren, Eryka Berryhill and Easton Ryan Gill both of Searcy A brother, Jessie Jones, and two sisters, Ruth Avery and Thelma Avery preceded him in death. Funeral services were at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 6, at Fairview Road Baptist Church by Rev. J.T. Harvill and Rev. Danny Crowder. Gene Jeffers was in charge of the music. Burial was in Moseley Cemetery near Warren by Frazers Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Mark Tilton, Bill Spears, Ricky Purfoy, Barry Doss, Windsell Loudermilk, Kenny Patterson, Joe Scrape, and Bill Beard. Honorary pallbearers were Rudolph Jeffus, Jake Scrape, Eddie Mack Urban, A.D. Brown, James Jeffus, Horace Patterson, William Avery, John Hicks, and Chester Avery.
