Tilton BaileyPublished Wednesday, November 23, 2005 in the Nevada County PicayuneTilton Bailey, 87, of Prescott, died Oct. 27, 2005 at his home. He was born Sept. 12, 1918, in Nevada County, to Allen Bailey and Hattie Ervin Bailey. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Pearlie Haynie, Lula Pickens and Daisy Flowers; brothers, Samuel, Jesse and John Henry Young; and children, Daisy Helen and Jerry Allen. Survivors include children Ola, Lee Tilton, Annie Peal and Darlene; sister, Sallie Toney; brother Hurshel Bailey; two grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren. Services were held Thursday, Nov. 3, 2005, in the Harrison Chapel Baptist Church, Rosston (Waterloo), with the Rev. Bobby Box officiating, under the direction of Marks Funeral Home, Magnolia. Pallbearers were Jerry Bailey, Benjamin Berry, Sherman Gulley, Satchel R. Meadows, Chad Randall, Frederick Thomas, Frederick, Toney and Horace Williams.
