Frank Syata

Mr. Frank Paul Syata, 84, of Hope, formerly of Houston, Texas, passed away Thursday, September 29, 2005, in Christus St. Michael Hospital in Texarkana, Texas.

He was born October 12, 1920, in St. Joseph, Mo., to Julius and Katherine Syata. He was a lab technician with Westbury Square Medical Laboratory in Houston. He was an Army Veteran of World War II and a Catholic.

He was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth Syata in May 2005.

His survivors include his wife of 55 years, Willie Stone Syata of Hope; one daughter, Kathey Harwell of Hope; one brother, Walter Syata of Tocoma, Wash.; one sister, Mary Chleborad of St. Joseph; three grandchildren, Sarah Clements of North Little Rock, Tyler and Zachary Syata of Hope.

Memorial services were at 11 a.m will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 16, 2005, at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope with Father O.K. officiating. Arrangements by Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home of Home.
