There were plenty of activities to keep patrons of the Fourth Annual PumpkinFest busy.

The Prescott High School cheerleaders set up a jail to incarcerate unruly festival attendees. This was done to raise money for cheerleading projects.

The Nevada County Cancer Association set up a fishing booth, where everyone caught something. There was also a booth selling cotton candy and sodas, along with another peddling nachos, pickles and chili dogs. The Artesian Arts League had a rummage sale to raise money for its projects.

There was also pumpkin painting, pumpkin carving, a ring toss game, face painting, and wagon rides.

Dakota Jones was named the winner of the beautiful baby contest.

In the annual PumpkinFest Pageant, Kase Davis was the winner in the Baby Mister competition, while Victoria McLelland won the Baby Miss portion.

Brooke Burton was crowned Tiny Miss, while Kelland Sands was the runner up and named best dressed. Autumn Scruggs won the Little Miss part of the event. Zoie Otwell captured the Junior Miss title, while Hannah McLelland won the Teen Miss crown. She was also named most photogenic and best dressed. Stephanie Milam was the runner up.

The crowning moment came for Jessica Honea as she was named PumpkinFest Queen.

In the costume contest, Madison Grimes won the 7-11 age division, while Hallie Hearnsberger won the 0-6 category. Zach Doty was second with Emilee Parmer third in the 0-6 group.

Pookie was tabbed as the best dressed pet, while the Bank of Delight went home with bragging rights as having the best decorated booth. Denise Smillie was the winner of the best decorated house contest, while the Flamingo Grill was named best decorated business.

In the bubble blowing contest Jonathan Formby was the winner in the boys division, while Tessa Oliver captured the girls crown.

The winner of $100 of gasoline was Phillip Mathis.

Sadie Backuss class won a pizza party for being named the winner of the coloring contest.

The PumpkinFest is sponsored by CHICS (Citizens Helping Improve Community Standing).
